Stumbled across this whilst browsing the web. Could be of some use to people when trouble shooting. With some electrical knowledge you can knock up your own serial lead to talk to the ECU of your car - would probably only cost <>£15!

I missed that one, as I only tend to lurk around the Grif forums.
Interesting read, I would recommend against anyone without electrical knowledge tackling this sort of thing, I think your ECUmate would be a preferable option for most people still running the orginal ECU.
Still, interesting to see the information all in one place.
