You are only RESERVING a room and not having to pay until check out so book early – you have been told. DO NOT book via the hotel web site or other booking web site as you will not get the special rates quoted above.
If anyone has to cancel please can you let me know as I can probably get the room reallocated. Any problems please let me know and I'll sort them.
CURRY - FRIDAY NIGHT
This will again be at Chutneys in Stratford-upon-Avon as the curry is top notch. The cost will be £20 which includes poppadoms (with dips), mixed starters, any main, and nan/rice and a return coach journey. Drinks are extra i'm afraid. Places are limited so please book early as this is extremely popular as anyone who has previously attended will tell you.
Coach will depart the White Horse at 19:00 prompt (so be in the pub at 18:30 to ensure you're there as you'll be buying the first round if not) and will return about 22:30 back to the White Horse which will stay open for us so we can sink a few nightcaps(please make sure I don't have too many). Payment in advance to secure your place(s) as we have to pay the coach up front. To book please contact Paul Bennett (FFG) at paul.bennett@cevalogistics.com
BBQ - SATURDAY NIGHT
Back at The White Horse, a 2 minute walk from the hotel. The BBQ will be £10 a head to include a good spread of meat and fish, and will be payable in advance on a first come first served basis as places are limited, so book early to avoid disappointment. Please contact Paul Bennett (paul.bennett@cevalogistics.com) to book.
The pub serves real ale and cider as well as the usual pub drinks. We will have the famous Growl charity auction during the evening so dig deep.

What methods may we employ to 'make sure' you don't have too many?
Last year I enjoyed the most as I wasn't as hammered, certainly as much as the previous year - I think that was down to the quaffing of strong beers in Chequers all lunchtime thne continuing for the rest of the day, then finished off with a Cobra or 2. I think Mr Mojo was in a similar state.

Yep Mojo was struggling a bit on the Sat. I believe he went for a little lie down
I will be trying to not be dropping anything this year as it was a monumental waste of alcohol!!
I don't remember having a lie down, I have a vague recollection of nearly passing out, but at no stage did I lie down. Not me, never.

FFG has booked Velcro bottomed glasses and a special tray for you this year mate so we'll be having no little mishaps again

Did we manage four o'clock last year or is that this years goal ? I know we set a new record last year but no idea what time it was. May have been a little tipsy by then.
We managed a 4 on the Sat morning and a 5 on the Sunday. I vaguely recall several attempts by the manager to close the bar and it was the bar staff that said it was fine as we were all having a good laugh. Of course it could also have something to do with the amount of money that we were spending.

It's as safe as most hotel car parks - so pretty good. There's the added bonus of hundreds of like minded car enthusiasts keeping an eye on their P&J. Hope you make it and have a great day.
Hi,
Thanks for the reply, not sure if I made it clear although my car is usually interesting to most car enthusiasts, it is a not a TVR is there still places to park in the hotel for non TVR cars.
Regards
Nick

We did have a friend of the FFG's arrive in his Diablo as well as a hotel guest that was there in his Ferrari 328. I seriously would not imagine there being any problems with your car.
HTH mate and look forward to meeting you there.
