got my new cam and vernier timing chain, only problem is there are no timing marks on the new vernier, does anyone have the positions or any info e.g keyway positions etc.

You don't need marks on the vernier. Set the engine at tdc using a dial guage on number one piston and a 360 degree disc on the nose of the crank. Or use a positive stop in number one plug hole. Then put the crank into the full cam degree lift position. Rotate the cam until you have full lift. Then tighten the screws in the vernier. Slowly rotate the engine 2 revolutions to make sure nothing fouls and recheck you have full lift of x amount of thou at x crank degrees. Also check the valve springs aren't coil bound. I think that's about it. You should have been given instructions with the kit.

Ah ah now i see, me is thick,me is, got TDC but i never got sent a timing disc but it really confirms what i thought.
better safe than sorry eh?

and yes i thought there would be instructions provided with the kit!!

There's a bit more to it than that,you have to remember that slack in the timing chain. I did get ur email but have been workin on a friends extention till midnight every night but i will reply to it explaining exactly how to dial your cam in tonight ok
