Sorting out the manifolds it seems I've leaned a bit hard on one of the headlight pods and broken the seal (again)
Typically, it would be the good side too, not the side which looks like a monkey did the sealing - and a blind one at that!

I know all about taking them out etc and resealing them, but always struggle to get the very front up nice and snug and then keeping it there.
Has anyone any tips on how to jam the pod in place while the sealant goes off?

The garage that painted my front end a few years ago used suction cups tied up to the joists above so they were permanently pulled up whilst the sealant dried.

Try reaching inside from the engine bay and stuffing some rolled up rags in there under the pod. That should hold the pod in place until the sealant cures.
