Do we have the only Griffith living on the IOW?

From a post I made last year, you might find that you are the only person with a TVR over there, I posted about a weekend where we were taking our Griff over and no-one replied about having one.
Our Griff goes up for sale this weekend and so when we come across next weekend we will be in the Merc, so you probably won't want a beer or a Pims down on Cowes sea front next Saturday?
But if you do post me an email. Coz you might not even get too many replies to the thread, shame as the military road is a great road to stretch the legs of a car......just not this time of year during the day anyway.

I saw a silver Griff when I stayed on the IOW in May 2003! A rare sighting indeed.

dnb - what do you do for super unleaded over there - we came over in the V8S early last month and singularly failed to find any ... evrey petrol station we asked seemed to think we were after LRP not Optimax! With the exception of the Military Road (and the one from Newport over the top to Brading) we were disappointed at the condition of the roads (and came home with a cracked headlamp to boot!). We did see a black Tamora in Sandown though - is he local? Shame - we like the IoW (and have good childhood memories of it) but not sure we could subject our P&J to it on a daily basis?

I have an Impreza turbo for day to day chores

The roads aren't ideal, but the major routes are gradually being resurfaced. There are still some places where I won't take the Griff.

As for SUL, there's garages in Totland and Wooton Bridge. I'm using plenty of Nitrous Formula and NUL at the moment. There's no shell garages now, so no optimax.
