I remember seeing one of these on here before but the search is down again and I can't find it.

I'm doing a Cornish road trip this summer and will need the luggage space but want the roof down. I remember seeing a fabric roof that could be rolled up into a small space in the boot.

Anyone know who made them, if they still do and if they're any good?

Thanks in advance,

Simon

Thanks for the speedy reply Colin - any idea what they cost?

I have the Surry folding roof too - very handy, very easy. I don't even use the hard top anymore.

I think it's £500 plus postage and extra for a bag. Drop Roger an email to confirm though.

He'll be at the Growl so you can speak with him and buy one to reduce the postage charge.
We've got one an dthey atre very very good and sit on top of the stuff in the boot. Better than the 2 piece IMO and I've got a 2 piece (S&D not a cut job) also.

Not only do they fold down to easily fit in the boot but they'll also sit behind the seats, on top of the seat belt mounts.
I also found that the extra 'flaps' Roger has fitted (at the top of the window) nicely stops the drips of water blowing onto my lap that I get with the hard top. Mine has definitely been tested to the extreme in wet weather........
I should be up at the Growl on Saturday - with mine fitted!!!
