Super Dad!
Any pics of this Griff then?
There you go, early 500 but it suits me and it will be perfect time I have finished with it. Just spent £4500 on Cerbera ( had her 13 years) getting her back to how she should be, and work was done by Andy at APM he is very good, plus had a 3/4 respray cost £800 and they done a good job for that just a couple of little things that they need to put right.Any pics of this Griff then?

And his wife and Grandson as well, just purchased a child seat for the Cerb so the little fella can come with his grandad, so it will be a sedate drive to Le Mans as I always do,

Well done Gary, hope to see you soon.
Nick
By the way I have named the Griff see below thread on Chim sectionNick

Yes I,am so upset would have been happy with Chim, but I must admit do like the look of the front end of the Griff rear of Griff is as I call them "Fat Arsed" and the Chim has better rear end lines same as my Cerbera, so I will name the Griff I have just got as "Fat Arse" in a lovable way

I think you may have got a bargain there, full chassis restoration, new suspension and an engine rebuild, sounds like all you need to do is add fuel. Oh and blue ones are the fastest http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3662955.htm

Good work on the Cerb, I would love a Cerb to complement my Griff.

Griff, needs a little TLC as been in a garage for a year and it had a 12000 mile service and the guy only done 1000 miles, drove it and the brakes are S--te so going to change them straight away looked on here and WMS look like a good upgrade, Griff going straight to APK for once over before I hit the road,

P.S. I did noy pay £10500 for it due to work that is needed to bring it up to how it should be and would be happy to spend £3000 on her so she will be just so.
Photo of Cerb all shiny
I think its going to be great to have the choice of these classic cars to drive, one I can have the wind in my hair and the other when its overcast, as I,am a wimp and don,t like getting cold,
Oh and I have no patience with getting roof put away as I had a chim before Cerb so getting one of those fold away ones.

The price on that car fell like a rock! I test drove it around a year ago when the seller wanted £13k for it. It was being sold by Dulford on behalf of the owner at that time.Congratulations on the purchase.
Is it just me that thinks that is ludicrously cheap for a 500? Or was there really that much work needed to bring it upto spec?
I'm constantly led to believe that Griffs are an appreciating classic.
I've had a chassis restoration and engine rebuild on my '94 500 and would not sell it for less that 14k... That's if I were selling of course.
