Seriously, what do I need to do to make this thing stay in place? Is there some kind of masonic handshake/foot movement to simply boot it into place so that it doesn't attack my passengers when I put my foot down?

Any tips greatly appreciated!

The bottom section is bolted through the floor from underneath. The cover on top should be rivited to the base part. (Or self tapping screws)

For me it fits best if I put the top in first, almost too far forward, then 'jam' the bottom in untill it's vertical,if that makes sense? I bet they do vary a bit though!

Thanks for the tips guys. I think part of my problem is the arrangement of the fuse box/ecu means the loom kind of sits awkwardly, so I can't get the panel to sit "naturally".

Is the ECU meant to just sit on top of the panel that sits atop the battery?

If you have it on top make sure it doesn't get pushed back enough to short anything on the fuse board.

I have a carpet flap that covers the Terminals of the Battery, with the ECU on top of that. Then as said before , i wedge the foot well come vertical Battery cover panel ( Carpeted ), in front of it. You may have to tuck in the Loom ( Snake) with the Relays on top of the Battery to make the panel move back a little.

This is exactly the set up I have. Might try and rig up some kind of velcro system, in true TVR style. :-/

can you fit the ecu (black box) between the battery box and transmission tunnel... it slides in nicely there on the precats smile
