Size of early OZ split rim cross spokes

Can anyone tell me whether the cross spokes off an early Griff are the same rim widths as the 500 Estorils cos I'm thinking of fitting some on my 500 and want to put bigger front brakes in as well. (I'm running 225s on the front and 245s at the back.)

Are they any heavier, as well?

They are the same widths. I have 245 Toyos on the rear and 205's on the front. Not sure on the weights - both bloody heavy.

Yes, I saw them on Saturday. Thought they would look very nice on my Starmist Blue jobbie. Just would like to be able to get some decent brakes under the fronts, though.

Miht buy a set to see what they're like. I can always sell them on if they're no good.

If you do buy them and don't want them give me a shout. I want a spare set.
The ones you saw have been completely refurbed, split, repainted with all new titanium bolts.
The bolts didn't look bad but apparently they badly corrode where you can't see. THese were £1.75 each which don't sound bad untilk you realise there are 120 in total.

Make sure you get the centre caps and cover bolts too if possible, or you will have an epic search to find them. These early wheels seem to be gaining in popularity now,with good complete sets at a premium.
The split rims dont seem to photograph well on the car IMHO, looking a bit 'hub heavy' but they do look great in the flesh.
I have a very good set of split rims and a brand new set of Estorills (neither of which are for sale), I was looking to swap via PH the Estorills for another very good set of OZ last year without success,refurb costs are fairly high on a tatty set. Any close up pics of your refurb FliFlop?
I think from memory the split rims are slightly heavier than the Estorill.
I've refitted the split rims this year, looks good on a black car, but they are a pig to clean.
There is a set ( 1 damaged rim) in the back of this months Sprint.

That was the set I saw. Might be worth a punt at the price. Depends on refurb costs though.
