Stupid and embarrassing question. Is there a special tool required to remove the plastic centre cap covering the wheel nuts on my Griffith 500? It has 2 slots.

I would be grateful for any help.

Thanks

I just use two big screwdrivers on mine, though you can buy a proper key.

Thanks for that, any idea where and what it's called? Does it need to be turned anti-clockwise?

Key is in the toolkit, if you still have it.

(I assume that one post means you are new to TVRs and not just working out how to nick my Estorils...)

Got it at the end of last summer, just want to take off the wheels to give them a good clean and don't want to damage anything

Have the tool kit but there is no tool

Racing green do a replacement if you can't source the original but they really are easy to get off with large screw drivers

Thanks to all for your help. As you all said, use the 2 big screwdrivers, I did and it did the trick perfectly, thanks for the link for the link to the replacement ones too!
