Squeaky Seats!

Well possibly the first thing to check is that it is not your arse.
There's nothing that moves under the seat. The sliding mechnism is generally very tight and even if it were loose it wouldn't squeak IMHO.
Tou could take the seat out quite easily (four bolts through the floor pan - nuts on the outside) and have a look at it close-up in the house. Be careful though as one or two of the washers are half ground down so they fit up close to a chassis member. So getting them back in the right order is important.
Thing is - the seat is full of foam - what could squeak in there?

Depending on where you position the seat, it may be something as simple as the leather rubbing on the door or transmission tunnel. Mine can squeek like mad in the 'wrong' position. I reckon the hinge between seat and backrest can also squeek - mine does a little but driving with the roof off I can't hear it.

Mine (on the passenger side though) moves just enough over bumps to squeak. But it's obvious what it is because of the location. Might not be so obvious if it is the strut behind your head.

No, I can sit in my seat with the car stationary, bobble up and down, and make it squeak. I get odd looks from passers by, but...
