I have what appears to be a griff/chimeara chassis that shows no obvious signs that its ever been used, supposedly came from the factory just before the shutdown.

Generally sizes and arrangement match griff/chim but it has non-standard mountings up front and an odd cutout in the middle of the main rail.

Anyone have any knowledge of development chassis's, or what this might have been for?

There is no steering rack cross member either.

I seem to remember someone saying TVR tried all sorts of engines in the chassis before the speed six came along?

Any ideas anyone?

Last time I saw that it was at a guys house in Eastbourne, and we were collecting a Griff shell and a load of spares.

As above it was supposed to have been modified to take Sierra 4x4 running gear.

I guess it would make an interesting project, any 4x4 TVR's out there already?

More likely better off converting it back to standard I guess?

The one that uses the twin to that chassis is , I believe , in the same village as you .
