Reading the story on PH today about there being no more TVR's ever!
He has been a bit harsh on Chimps, stating that the TVR brand will still be used on wind turbines!

Spoilt russian bratt with more money than brains!! How many British car companies have been bought and decimated by their foreign owners. Also the likes of good solid SAAB being run down the drain by GM! Lets ignore the idiot and enjoy the legacy we have with our cars and continue to improve and use them! LONG LIVE OUR TVR'S

To be fair, there has been a fair share of decimation by British owners as well. But I agree this is very sad news, and I just don't understand what you want with the TVR name selling turbines? Just sell the name to someone who DOES want to take the risk and start building low volume sportscars in the TVR tradition and sell your turbines under a different name.

If there is one country in Europe where it can still be done, it is the UK, thanks to its relatively friendly legislation which has still more flexibility than continental Europe. It won't make you rich but it can make you loved.

Thankfully I'm still building my Griff, so there will be at least one more new TVR on the road.
