twin plenum query
Discussion
They are getting a bit long in the tooth now, and Ive heard of issues with air getting in around the throttle spindles due to wear and tear which makes them pretty much impossible to set up, so check it carefully before you start ripping things to bits. Also worth bearing in mind that the stock AFM will be a bigger restriction than the single plenum air intake to airflow, so its worth considering if you want to use the bigger 20AM or Bosch unit and a re-chip as well.

I looked into this a few years ago & came to the same conclusions. They're 25(ish)years old now & will be requiring a pretty comprehensive refurb unless cosseted. The TP on flea bay looks like it'll need a complete stip & rebuild.
Do these actually flow appreciably more than the 'usual' over-bored plenum? Never been convinced the oem plenum is a significant restriction once the AFM is out of the equation but interested if anyone knows for sure...
Anyone know if Raceproved are any nearer to production with their throttle body offering yet; seems a better way forward for the big cam brigade if so?
