As my car was a bit worse for wear when I bought it,I didn't get a complete car like you lucky peeps.

I need to fit wiper arms and blades for the impending MOT

Does anyone where to get them apart from the obvious (TVR), what size are they etc, is there anything I should be looking for in prefrence to the originals - I gather that rainX stuff is a must.

early wiper arms were labelled Bosch (listed for TVR),
later arms are unlabelled and from TVR only (and don't split)

Wiper blades Lucas WEB160
Washer tank - Ford
Washer pump Cortina Mk5
Wiper motor Lucas

Does this that they last longer as they don't break/split???? or does it mean that they are made up of less pieces and they 'don't split' in to smaller components????

Sorry for the confusion Paul. I quoted a reference manual i've got. didnt say I understood it!!!

I assume the latter thought - i.e. blade / arm assy

I'll email the manual to you.

Hi Thatch, any chance you could e-mail me the Griff workshop notes or parts list too. Cheers. Baldy.

Why do you need windscreen wipers, you haven't got a windscreen

Oh yes I have - It's very nearly finished !!!

My list of things to do for an MOT is less than 10, if I get lucky it might be done this weekend
