Hi all, just spotted this apparent 1 owner, 8,848 mile 1994 Griff for sale http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TVR-Griffith-500-/120954... Look at the price, though it appears like new? Pete

1 previous owner, so with the current owner that makes 2 owners - why can't the dealer just say 2 owners rather than try to mislead buyers by saying 1 previous owner?

Looks like it's in great condition though.

I know the guys at 4 Star well and went down to see this Griff last Tuesday.
It's mint, almost as new . It would make a fantastic photo guide to Griff Originallity (. Like the Haddock E Type books ) as it is so completly unmolested / factory fresh .

I was very surprised at just how light the clutch was ( recent replacement ) , you could sit in traffic all day in this one ( mine is far heavier but still acceptable

Drivers seat is almost unworn , much more supportive than in my car , but the seat design is still apaling ! If you could live with red , this car is a stunner .

I sold a mint , Black Metalic LHD 2000 model a few months ago for 35 grand .

This red one is well worth the asking price and 4 Stars back up is superb. Whoever buys it will be over the moon with it .

When a car is sold to the trade the dealer doesn't fill in the new keeper section. A different section is filled in (can't remember without looking at a V5) DVLA are notified of the changes and the car is on the system as being 'in trade'. When the car is sold to they new owner they fill in the new owners details as normal, send the V5 off and in this case will be he second registered owner.

The car has one former keeper, the original purchaser, before it was sold to the current owner, a car collector who has pampered it with whatever necessary.

That's two owners surely! Great looking car though.

So two owners then the dealer? Yep that makes no sense at all.

When a Dealer ie myself buys a car with no paperwork and aplies for a new log book. ( V5 ) at the rip off £25 quid ) it comes back with the Trade name on it , which unfortuneately adds to the number of owners .
