Body Repair - Advice Needed
Discussion
My Griff has developed a largish crack in the bodywork, on the lip of the engine bay In seems to have spread a bit towards the nose. Obviously I need to get this seen to PDQ. Any recommendations - I live in Hampshire?
The strange thing is I cannot for the life of me see how it happened. It seems from the location that it cannot be anything other than a crack from downward pressure and I cannot recall any incident like that. Anyone else ever have this problem?

Having spent quite a lot of my time leaning on this part of the body work, I noticed that it moves quite a bit.
If someone was to sit heavily on that part it would eventually split - any hairline crack could easily spread.
Could be that somebody has been acting out their fantasies and your pride and joy has been used as a matress

Sorry to hear about your news, but hope that this helps.
Harrison & Co in Farnham are specialists in Fibreglass repairs and normally have had a good write up on here, if you do a search on the threads. Nick Harrison the MD used to run the TVR dealers called SHG in Farnham, so lots of experience with TVR's.
Appreciate that farnham isn't in Hampshire, but it aint too far away from most places in Hampshire.
Also was told by a guy in Le Mans in 2003 about a place in Wallington near Sainsburys in FAREHAM, but never had any other words on them.
Regards.
