Just wanted to share with you that i am very happy to be back as a Griff owner. I regretted selling my first 500 from day one, but had no choice at that moment.
Yesterday i bought a LHD (i live in the Netherlands) 5.0 94 with 37.000 kms. The opportunity came up because it has some light GRP-damage and was bought by a trader who had NO idea what he was selling well below value (even when repair added), hence lots of phone-calls all day long and even 2 calls while i was watching the car.
I was tipped by a friend the evening before and immediately went there the next morning to buy it, if luck smiles at you, you have to smile back.....
The funny thing is that i am quite a car-nut and even do car-racing, but even with my other toys being around in the garage and on the driveway, i have been lurking almost on a daily base at this Griff-forum.
Hope to join the party with all of you again, for me the Grif is one of the 2 cars i fell in love with and that will always remain one of my absolute favorite cars forever. (the other one since twenty years the Griff is the recently added F458 which is just as iconic to me from day one)
I hope to keep and improve this one over the years and even when the above mentioned other icon will join it this car will keep impressing me.
You are a bunch of lucky guys.
Griffith's prove to me that money is not everything.

But, joking aside the money I've lost/spent during the process would've either helped pay my mortgage or had one hellova Griff by now.

Welcome back to the fold
Wouldn't sell mine even if my life depended on it...it mine for LIFE!
which is a bit of a bummer, cos i really want a Sag
Go and see your bank manager and remortgage, you only have one go in life, I'd love a SAG to, they are sex on wheels, nothing comes close.

i agree on most of you that the Sagaris (and most T-cars) are the bést cars Blackpool has produced. They are better engineered, better built and drive better.
But that is to me not what Griff's are about. They hit me in the face in '93 and only crawled deeper and deeper under my skin. It is just one of these iconic things where the seperate parts of looks, sound and performance come together in a way where the result is so much more than the sum of its parts. For me it's just magic.
I am fortunate to own (and have owned) some pretty special cars, but compared to the even slightly damaged Griff standing here now, non of them is as special as the (much cheaper) Griff.
You can compare it to an Iphone, if you call as much as i do, i even got it for free from my provider, but i would be very unhappy if i had to live without it, it became part of my life without costing anything.
It's difficult to explain, but that's just what Griffiths mean to me.
