The crankshaft pulley on my 1995 Griff 500 has been damaged by some sort of impact. The rear flange is bent and fouls the belt.
Does anyone know what torque setting the centre bolt requires? I assume the thread is left handed.
Also, where can I get a new pulley from? I can't find one from my normal sourcesconfused

Cheers

150ft/lb......normal thread. Just done this on mine, just tighten it as tight as you can. I had a 2ft breaker bar on mine plus a jack handle.

For a new pulley try calling Colin Apps at TVRSW on 01823 266 555. Believe he is working with Neil from TVR Parts who can source pretty well anything Tiv related......
When you replace the pulley make sure that the slot for the woodruff key is the correct size (i.e. the same size as the slot in the crank). My 500 had to have a 'stepped' key made as the slot in the pulley was larger than the one in the crank - you don't want to know what the engine rebuild cost!!!!! Colin probably has some stepped keys in stock!
Good luck
