2 weeks ago, I drove in my griffith to work. I heard some strange sounds from the engine, looked at the oil pressure and saw 0 pressure! yikes
Unfortunately I found myself on the highway with no security lane to stop. Result: damaged engine.

Now I am wondering what to do. Of course the engine has to be repaired, but are there any other things I should look at doing now it's open anyway?
Furthermore I realised at the last continental meeting, that my car is/was very fast. How can I assure I am not going to loose power or is that a certain consequence of refurbishing an engine?

Thanks for the advise...

There is no reason why your re built engine should loose power.

First thing is to pull it to bits and see what damage has been done and take it from there.

Depends how fast you want to go and how much you want to spend

Summer will probably over soon anyway, so speed is not the most important. However funding is. I just had spent a nice sum to do some improvements on the car. So my spending needs to be smart and effective. Not the easiest part of owning a tvr rolleyes
