Got A Griff At Last
Discussion
Finally will be the owner of a Griff, actually had her for a couple of weeks but was waiting on a house sale which has now gone through so I can pay for her later today or Latest Monday, anyway she is superb and really drives nice, only sad bit is that the one of the out riggers on the drivers side has a small hole in it and the other one is very rusty, and passengers side has rust on as well so she is booked in to have both sides done, but the rest of her is superb with lots of nice upgrades, ACT induction, Wilwood brakes, and just had AST shocks fitted , and I,am going to finish off the shiny bits on the interior, to match the rest getting new handbrake handle, dash air vents, screed vents and window switches, anyone fitted them, I,am very heavy handed ok taking things apart but putting them back together I,am hopeless so would itbe better to someone else to fit them or are they easy. Ordered a surrey roof as trying to get the roof in the boot is a joke. There she is hope you like.

PS some of you might remember I put a message on here a while ago about getting a blue Griff, well I,am picking that one up next Saturday to go with the other Griff and my Cerb, but my son is having the blue one now as I given him some money towards it and borrowed him the rest, long story.

More pictures, colour is more gold than grey when I pick up all the docs in the week I find out what colour it is but it is nice, going to finish off the shiny bits in the interior, handbrake, air vents, dash vents & window buttons which I have ordered from leven. are they hard to fit I,am ok taking things apart but a bit heavy handed and not a lot of patience would it be better to get someone else to fit them. Then once all that done she should need any work done as all the decent upgrades have been done
P.S had my Cerb 13 years now and a Chim before that just to let you know I,am not a newby with TVR,s
Hope you like photos and thrown in one of my Cerb

Wow that is a lovely Griff.
I have never seen one in that colour before.

and I must admit I really do the like the colour but its going to be a nightmare keeping it clean with the light coloured interior. And yes they are great cars, I was looking for a Chim as they are great value at the moment but the Griff came along and for the price I paid I just could not say no

To answer your question on fitting shiny bits, if they are Leven (or whatever they are now) they are dead easy. Mostly glue and a screwdriver.
Yes they are leven and I will wait till the shiny bits come and if they are easy I will have a go myself if not then its best if I get someone else to do them as I,am a t
t when it comes down to things like that and often have a go and it costs me more money to get them re ordered and the damage I have done put right but we will see
