Ignition Module Wiring

Just bought replacement module however the original was a 2 pin where it joined the engine loom, and this is a three pin with a 3 to 2 pin converter as pic. Just wondering if it is important which way round I wire it up as on my engine loom there are just two single female spade connecters which could fit the plug either way round, and not a multiplug? Any ideas please.

Like Mark (Blitz) says important you get +ve and -ve correct.
