Fatty breaks springs!!
Discussion
My bill eventually came out to £3K - broke down as follows:-
£600 Wilton carpets and leather edging.
£400 New Mohair hood (complete).
£1,750 Complete two-tone leather (car was originally half leather).
£250 New screen and fitting.
I'm very pleased with the job but the price did creep up a little, got a feeling you could get both seats re-covered in leather for a little over £500 (including repairs).
I will be posting pics this weekend as I will have the dash fitted.

Thanks Paul, look forward to seeing the pic's.
Just measured width of old 'grimbo's' seats at 17 inches, then measured my Sons Recaro seats in his Evo at 23 inches. May be off to the Honda showroom with my tape measure, have a feeling the Recaro Sports may be to wide.
What do I say to the Honda salesperson if he catches me measuring up the seats

Just thought I would post an update on the seat affair.
Found a 'car trimmer' at Walsham in Norfolk. He stripped the bottom of the seat c/w the old broken rubbish. Drilled small pilot holes to seat frame base and installed cross rubber webbing strips and hooks. Fitted calaco to cover base and re-profiled seat base where leather had stretched.
All in an excellent job for £120, I will be taking the other seat to him for same treatment next Spring.
I am thinking about replacing the door carpet trim with 'ruffled leather'. Anyone had this done yet ?

Pleased you've got the seats done - I took time to hammerite mine as they had surface rust and my trimmer had to weld one base tubes.
I also took his advise and he replaced the door carpets with the contrasting leather - leather is textured but not ruffled.
I know I promised pics, but it's going backwards at present and some of the interior and dash are out. Should have it sorted this weekend.
