oil be going slightly mad!

Ok so here is a funny one, a month back my oil pressure was stuck at 60 all the time for the first 30mins of a cold run out. (normal is 30 tickover, 60 full chat)
Today, went to top up oil as it was getting low. The dipstick was reading below min, which I know was wrong. put 1/2 l in, did not change after 5 min wait, Gave the engine a min to warm up and the pressure was sitting at 60 again? checked the level, way over max?
Knew from my last run out it was 3-4mm over low line so went for 20min blast with it still reading 60. Got back and now the level is 2/3 of the way to full?
Oil pressure sender is only 6months old, connections good, oil pump only 12 months old.
So any Ideas Guys?
