This was brilliant - we stuffed the box with as many votes as we could find free papers for. Parked right next to an Elan it really made my day. Sadly I didn't have a camera on me at the time but hopefully someone will be along soon with pics.
The car was a stunning J-reg metallic grey pre-cat. The owners name was on the info board but to my discredit I have forgotten whose it was.
Anyone know which car won?

Hello Ian
,any pics? How are you getting on with the Griff?
Hi Mike, As above, thats the one!! Did look very good, fantastic paint.
,any pics? How are you getting on with the Griff? Mine, well you know how it is Mike, one step forward, eight back!! The engine parts are all done I now need to build it up. The rollcage and chassis have been modified, again needs some time and a bit more money for me to finish it really. Its a miracle I ve still got it really!!
How you getting on with yours??

Think it said it was number 18 or so ... So yes an early one... Looked great!
I thought that as well then realised that the car numbers were for the voting in the car of the show eg E-type car 14, Griff car 18! Thought it strange that Goodwood had been able to get one of the first 20 cars built of every car on show!cavebloke said:
