4 wheel drive Griff for sprinting??
Discussion
Just to clarify, sorry, apparently someone built a 4x4 griff a few years back ( even had a supercharger or turbo on the v8 !!), i believe it was cosworth/sierra 4x4 (but not totally sure about that, might be able to tell by the chassis mods??) and apparently two chassis were built, this is the twin that has resurfaced after a few years in storage. This is my understanding and i am more than happy to be corrected if any one knows more (they know who they are;))
Im after a standard chassis and before going to the effort of putting this back to standard just wondered if someone wanted to build a 4x4 and want to buy the chassis (or px?? inexchange for some wheels or w.h.y)

Well i guess if it is Ford based, the most sensible thing to do might be to get a sierra XR4x4 donor and build it up. Would take a number of bodyshells, and go pretty well too!! hmmm.
To put it back to standard would involve a fair bit of cutting out and replacing tubes plus re-powder coating etc, probably not economical in the long run?.
Might be better selling it as a kit car chassis i guess and put the cash towards a new (or good condition used) standard chassis.
Any one have any more info on this elusive 4x4 griff?? pic's, spec, performance?

That might make some sense. I live in Bedford, and was chatting to a bloke in a car factors who said he knew someone local with a 4WD Griff. But couldn't remember much more. I put it down to one of those stories like the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.cheers
Geoff.
