OK, I've got the Griffith, love the car to bits etc, but I'm getting bored!! No not with the car, but with what to do with it. I've done some driving days etc and pushed it hard and being on the edge of control and the speed was addictive, and that's the problem, driving around the roads at normal speeds is not giving me a buzz anymore. Cruising around is OK, but a little dull, talking about the car is OK for 5 mins then a bit sad, caning it is sooo much fun, but as the license is already dented.. can't get to silly, bibs and all..so what do you do with a 160mph car with nowhere to go?? Can't afford trackdays every weekend, nor the grief from the wife that would create.(...she just doesn't understand me or TVR's!!) What do other owners do with their cars in the 'off season'??

don't you have a nice localish run? even if its only a 10 minute run with lots of chance for hard acceleration and wide corners/roundabouts... that does it for me

Try sprinting. Works out a lot cheaper than track days, and much more intense. You get an excuse to head off to interesting parts of the country at the weekend, meet up with a bunch of like minded people (who will quickly become mates because you tend to meet the same crowd throughout the season) and see just how fast you really are.
