Anyone recommend a company that will insure a TVR that will occasionally be parked on the drive ?
I've just contacted Lancaster Insurance ( as the TVR club insurance) and they won't insure my Griff if it is not in the garage on a night, ive not had this problem before. As I would like to be able to leave it parked on the drive occasionally that is no good for me.
Any recommendations ?

Cheers

My car is only on drive as I havnt got a garage big enough, the only criteris was that i had to fit a Thatchem2 immobiliser. I have been insured with Adrian Flux, A plan, Classicline, Aviva and now Be-Wiser insurance. The only company i phoned and said it had to be garaged was Mannings. I only change companies because I phone around every year for cheapest quote.

Give them all a ring and compare prices

Mannings was fine with my Tam on the drive, could it be an issue of reserved value?

I think it's on the classic car policies that you may have issues insuring if not garaged

My policy with Mannings has an endorsement (E29) that car has to be garaged between 10.00pm and 6.00am.

Perhaps this was a voluntary excess...can't remember, but worth checking-up on your own policy.

Agreed I insure my EVO with them, on a classic car policy kept on the drive and they quoted for a Griff.
