I think you will find its a fresh air fan and its standard on most Griffs
Yes that would be it! Mine has draft that comes through the door which makes my knees cold and a swear there is a draft in the footwell somewhere as well. Apart from the useless vent underneath the steering wheel there appears to be nothing in the way of a heater down there.

Matthew, you blocked the holes up under the carpet where the draft comes from?FlipFlopGriff said:
Thats Steve car isn't it? Maybe he is SGirl???? I know he now lives somewhere near Rugby so probably. Last time I saw it it had the front plate on the front section (stuck on).

Hardly! I'm not a bloke, let alone one called Steve. FFG

The car had a stuck-on plate on the nose when I sold it to Fernhurst. As far as I recall, they were planning on replacing it with a standard front plate before they sold it on. I don't know if they did that though.

Oh THANK YOU THANK YOU,
At last the Roll Hoops that I have been looking for,

will be contacting Chris Isaacs Race Cars tomorrow.
Thanks for spotting the car, great roll hoops.
Colin LLooking at the roll bar pictures above it looks as if the roof won't go over them - is that correct or just the angle they were taken from?

Yes, I saw that. Looks good and somebody may get a bargain there.
If I had the cash I would have a 2nd Griff.
how you know its a bargain? do you now the reserve price? If I had the cash I would have a 2nd Griff.
not to forget: the car in total has 76000miles.
is there any "real" prove about the chassis condition? there isnt....considering the total mileage (76000) the chassis is shot!!! i´m not discussing about the MOT, i´m discussing about the "real" condition. (i can show you pictures of
low mileage cars, "regulary waxoyled", outtriggers look "swollen", so with every expert the warning-bells start ringing. sure those cars have never been resprayed...strange that the waxoyl shows overspray...
...you always can trust!!!!)all the investment in engine and drivetrain makes no sense if its based on a weak chassis.
HID headlamps-- illegal
Gaz Nickel Shocks---> the cheapest shocks you can get on the market
so all this relatives the final sales price.
anyway...we are talking here about a "heavily" modified Griffith....even those modifications might be interesting for some people and for sure have cost real money, they wont be reflected in the final sales price and wont rise the car´s value.
12k might be realistic (if the chassis is in bomb prove condition)...some fools will sure pay more
a sucker is born every minute!!!

No names please.

FFG - I'm upset at selling enough without your transgendger jibes
- cheers PaulSGirl - I have loved owning the car since that faithful day & yes have carried out just one or two changes since you owned it

GinG15
I couldnt /wouldnt knowingly sell on any car with problems being stupid that way, but just for you - the Chassis still has most of its original coating intact, it is solid & any surface rust (including the out riggers) has been wire brushed & treated each year, i.e no rust swelling nightmares.Griff Community - I will buy another Griff some day, but until then I will still pop into the Griff Growl & other TVR meets / Events but probally in a Chevy Pickup

All the best
Steve (not SGirl)

You're lucky the numberplate I actually wanted at the time wasn't available when I went shopping for a GRF plate. I wanted to put M155 GRF on it.
- cheers Paul

Did you buy it from Fernhurst? I sold it to them in 2003 so that we could look for a Cerb instead. It's a great car - and it never did leak, glad to hear you've carried on the good work in that regard! We actually saw it parked up at Silverstone earlier this year, I was noseying and noticed you'd swapped out most of the interior!

That was me who brought it from Fenhurst in 2003, I used the proceeds from the sell of my Cobra kit car at the time, I remember gaving the guy at Fenhurst
a shock when I turned up with half the balance of cash in a biscuit tin
& yes that was me at the Silverstone Classic, which I remmember was a nice Sunny day.
