IMO some of the photos on the website are bit to good, they show a few things which might put some people off, mouldy footwells, rusty bits, etc, we all know it's normal but to the 1st time buyer they might be a bit off putting, even though they might buy one in the same condition they might be put off from calling you because the others aren't showing these points

The pictures are pants!
The blue is one of the nicest colours for a Griff so take it out into the country and get a side-on shot to show off the blue against a green backdrop.
Try getting a shot of the interior with a bit of car in so you don't have to use your imagination how they look together.
Either put a bit of sparkle into things under the bonnet or forget the pic and show something else - wheel maybe.

Judging by what is about at the moment and as we’re heading towards autumn then I think you need to drop the price by £500 to try and get buyers to have a look.
I don’t think £11K for a Griff is a bad price but you have to remember that most potential buyers are going to be first time TVR buyers and it’s a scary thing parting with £10K + for a 12 year old car with no warranty or come back.
You have to be prepared to sit it out or drop the price to shift it.

LOL.....yep, you're on target, a few of the others aren't!!
I thought that the pics maybe didn't show it in its best light, so was hoping someone else (hopefully more knowledgeable) would think likewise. However, are they only showing whats to be expected for a car of this age, or should you expect better??

I think we need to be careful - this guy might be (is?) a PHer and none of us have actually SEEN his car.
I like to try and keep an eye on all things 'pre-cat' and I too have noticed this appearing several times (think we're on the 3rd if not 4th go). The other one that perplexes me is that red pre-cat 4.3 with engine goodies and Tuscan seats that keeps appearing...seems like a nice car to me...but anyway...

Now here's why I wouldn't buy it - but this IMHO only:
No mention of FULL sh
I don't like non-original wheels (what's happened to it to need a full new set? - may well be innocent - may not be - and anyway I'd want originals £££)
well though out stereo install, but not my taste
Now the first two could be addressed with a phone call, the third I could live with (or remove).
I think the photos are commendably honest - and nothing hair raising for a griff of that age. People go on about time-wasting buyers, but IME time-wasting sellers are worse, and this guy seems to be the total opposite with these comprehensive and clear photos.
The only other thing I can say is that the colour combo doesn't really do it for me. Now the confession:
The car I ended up buying was advertised over a period of about 6 months; although it has Griff 4.x wheels it turns out they're not the originals (serves me right!!!), the colour looks 100 times better in the flesh than the photo, and everything checked out. You have to buy a car like this with your eyes open - don't expect perfection, just be realistic. Just becuase others have turned it down does not it's a bad car. It means their priorities may have differed to yours.
