brake lights under acceleration
Discussion
Sounds like your switch is a bit sensative to me do not quote me on this but their usualy is a switch near the brake pedal, it may require adjusting , if your on your own back up to the garage doors switch the ignition on neel on the floor and lightly press the brake pedal if the lights come on it is set to sensative. btw the idea of backing up to the garage doors is so you can see the reflection of your lights or use a mirror

I've seen this happen frequently on trackdays, esp on griffs, so is it a case of TADTS?
Taking the switch apart cleaning the contacts
(borrow a Chimp drivers nail file to clean the contacts
) & a delicate adjustment of the mounting bracket can cure the problem... well it did on mine

Had the same problem on mine and I couldn't see any adjustment, so I just fitted a cable tie on the brake pedal to allow me a little more movement before the contacts are made, Works a treat and has done for a year.
sounds like a good idea, i had a look this weekend and that will do the trick
Best bet to bin that stupid plastic thing that was fitted new and get a proper metal bodied item in with decent adjustment on it get from anyt good Auto elec shop fits straight on get your mate to check the back whilst tapping the pedal sideways to ensure lights dont flicker and they only come on when pedal pressed sensibly.
