We've been away at a friends for the last couple of days and yesterday went for a walk round a nearby lake. There was a visitor centre there with a cafe/shop so in we went for a coffee following which I strolled slowly round the shop after SWMBO wondering what I was doing there - anyway I spotted a disply of "I Spy" books so as I hadn't seen them around for many years wandered over to have a look. In amongst the many different titles was a "Car" one and also a "Classic Car" one so I picked up the latter and leafed through it. There were veteran type cars at the front and some more recent ones such as Morgan Aero at the back - BUT - a couple of pages from the back there was the TVR Griffith. There was a small write up which suggested that the Griffith was probably the best looking TVR and some performance info so a useful little bit of info for the junior spotters. It was the only TVR in the book so a result for the Griff - the only strange bit was the picture was of a red one - surprising as anyone in the know is aware that yellow ones are the best (and also the quickest)....

Sorry FFG no piccies - the book is only £2.50 and the usual small size for the kids in the car so nice to see them about again.
I should have mentioned that the Griff gets 25 points for a "Spy" (MG Midget only 10 points) so a junior collector at the Growl or Chatsworth would get a nice points haul.

This one I guess?
Had not realised Michelin had taken over the brand.
Well spotted 15 points.
