Having just spent the best part of 3 hours finding true TDC and setting my timing, I think on average it's set to 111.25 (885 Cam) but thats averaging on a lobe that reads the same for about 5 deg...

anyway, it's a TVR Power adjustable thingy... does anyone know the torque I should tightern the 4 cap heads down to?..

Cheers

Don't know the torque settings but make sure you use a good thread lock as the previous griff I had (previous to me getting it) the bolts came loose and destroyed the engine.

They were quite tight.. may be 25 NM?.... and came off with a crack.. so guess thread locks been used.. that said, once moveing they un-screwed easy.. so may be not??...

Trying to think back when i did mine John, It would be a guess, but i had 25nm in my head as you say. I certainly did not lock tight them and there was nothing in the fitting instructions to suggest doing this.
