Half sleeved exhaust - pipe dimension ?

Dear TVR drivers

I feel my Griff 500 deserves a little more sound and have decided to go for the half sleeved exhaust as this seems to represent a good compromise. Could anybody tell me the pipe dimension inside the silencer - what pipe dimension would you recommend me to buy before starting the job ?

Just open it up and wrap some 1mm sheet steel around the perforated bit for 1/2 of its length and spot weld in place.. if you start hacking it about and re-welding you could create flow issues.
