Personalised number plates

I've just bought a personalised number plate for my new Griff. I was keen to keep the price down as much as humnanly possible (to keep the wife happy), so I bought: "S8 RVT" for about £200. I don't know whether the above was a good price or a bad price (it was my 13 yr old son that found it).
My question is, for no good reason apart from curiosity, has anyone got any opnions as to the most interesting private plates for a TVR at a very affordable price? Any plates with the letters "TVR" were quite expensive I found.

Don't find that myself. In fact I feel fairly neutral towards private plates (I have one myself though) except in two circumstances.
I hate those that have to be 'modified' or respaced to make them say something - that's just naff.
I love those that make me laugh. Don't want to turn this in to a 'my favourite plate' thread (we must have had 50-odd of those in the last 2 years) but B16 TOY and UR02SLO bring a chuckle every time.

Were the prices from the DVLA? you will generaly find that any number offered by a dealer will be available directly from the DVLA a lot cheaper unless they are selling for someone who already owns a plate.
Hello fella's yes you have all seen it before but hey why not again. Pulled in to get some fuel after Yeovilton air day and the young lady behind the till said to me "Cool number plate and nice car" turned out her dad owned a Cerbera so had a liking for TVR's JT www.showoffyourcar.com/cars/TVR/5576.JPG

carefull with the number plate issue... i learnt the hard way and got shot down in flames for it,
at least your reg will be authentic as the R will be backwards as in the russian style.. very cool
dont worry some humourless spotneck will soon give you the 'if it doesnt say tvr its crap' then going back to putting his/her (P.C)toe nail clipping collection into chronological order
