To enable me to research Griffith cars. Are there any books/Internet sites where various information is available?

I've seen some info on the TVR car club site etc.

I would appreciate any recommendation.

As a guide of things to look for and how to fix them; the next best thing to a workshop manual this is worth purchasing The Bible

This site has some useful info to http://www.rv8r.co.uk/

Colin's nailed it really. Steve Heath's book is/was invaluable to me with both my Griffs.

Agreed on Steve Heath's book. It's not a workshop manual by any means but has some very useful tips - eg. last tip was how to get the battery box out - 2 bolts from underneath but saved me hours of scrabbling around the car.

Missed out on a couple of books on eBay. Just wondered if any one wants to let any Griffith books go?

I believe this was only a limited run and many owners of cars featured in the book bought a copy. Have you set-up a search on eBay?
