Unfortunately I've no experience in trying to judge the cost in costing repairs to paintwork on a griff. The car has serveral chips to the nose section and both doors have marks on the edge where the doors have touched other cars or walls. The car also needs attention the both doors and one rear wing where there are to very noticeable deep chips.
I don't think that the car requires a full respray but does require attention to bring it back to an acceptable level, the car is painted in a dark metallic blue.
I guess I'm looking for advice on where this work can be done and a view on potential cost for this work.
As always I'm looking for your advice.

Hi,
A chip company would be the first port of call I think most will give a free quote.
However bearing in mind how much of the car needs atterntion sounds like it is a respray for a tip top job!
Mine had a front end respray last year to get rid of the unavoidable stone chips and a small scuff on the rear quater in starmist blue (TVR dark blue metalic)the cost was £1750 IIRC, hope this helps.

Chris Gregory in Knaresborough. Highly respected on here, especially by the TVR gang. http://www.autorefinishing.co.uk/
Otherwise it would have to be the old factory boys at Surface & Design.

5k is more like it, Today water based paints and 2k high build laquers cost a small fortune,
Fot a griff sized car you would be looking round 2k in paint and materials,
And a couple of weeks work,
I own 2 body shops and I wouldn't won't to paint one for 5k,
Fibre glass paint work is very similar to paint a metal car except you can't bake a fibre car,
Hope this helps,
