As I'm re-acquainting myself with the foibles of TVRs, I'm finding things that don't (or appear not to) work. For instance, the heater controls seem to move with hardly any resistance, so I'm wondering if they're actually doing anything. Should there be resistance to movement i.e. the controls operate cables, or are they electrical controls?

Also, the heater blower switch has broken, the shaft has snapped, can anyone tell me the source/part number and where to buy a replacement please?

Thanks.

Controls are electronic, if you listen in the passenger foot well area you should here a couple of the servos when you rotate the knobs.

Confirmed. IMO, try repairing the shaft. Some thin sleeve and Araldite?

I need to get the control off the car, but I think it's snapped flush with the switch body. If not, I'll give your suggestion a shot.

You can get the switches (pots) from Maplins etc.

Maybe - if you know what you're looking for! There appears to be only one rotary switch on Maplins website, but the blower switch is also a push switch, and there doesn't appear to be one of those. Does anyone know where to get an original part (even if it is silly money!)?
