My hood is looking tatty as the stitching around the window has come adrift but the perspex and hood fabric are both ok. Does anyone do repairs or do I have to replace the whole lot and targa top?
Would appreciate some leads. Thanks.

Get yourself one of these with some decent thread for less than a tenner and save yourself a packet:

It worked for me.

So how does that work then? do you push it in & out of the fabric to get a stitched seam or do you have to push it in and fiddle before pulling it back out, if you get my drift.

It's a combination of the two if I remember correctly. I have one and stitched the velcro on my hood about 5 years ago and it's still there. Not the neatest but it works.
