theres a hole in the inner wing somewhere that leads into the drivers footwell( I think PHer simpo has it for sure, remember him talking about it).
Not sure it is on all models, also could be getting air vents somehow??
Just a couple of thoughts.
If it can get into the inner wheel arches somehow, then it could crawl through teh door sills and out through the gaps behind the seats that you access teh door lock catch.

I remember a program about mice a while ago, it reckoned that a mouse could get through any hole big enough you could stick a pencil through(obv. it'd have to remove it's clogs first). So I reckon if you've got enough pencils you could stick one in every hole you can see.
Another hint was to chuck down some flour or talc powder and you'll see it's clog trails to the place it's getting in. Also if you get a medicated talc powder, it will help the mouse clear up any infections it may have.
