Hi guys,
My windscreen has cracked and needs replaced. I am gutted!
Manning have said I can go to a local specialist or they can send Autoglass.
Has anyone had any positive or negative experiences with the mainstream glass people or can a specialist near Edinburgh be recommended.
Thanks again guys.

Just for info and for those who replied to my post about the main beam not working. I found thet the plug/socket connections after the bulb were badly corroded. I replaced them with solder joint covered with heat shrink and it is fine now.
I replaced the stepper motor for a new one (after cleaning made no difference) but I have not been out to try it yet.
Cheers!

A few years ago I had my front screen replaced by Autoglass as it had gone milky. The useless gits cut right through the fibreglass with a Stanley knife when they were removing the old seal. Make sure they are aware the car is fibreglass when you hand the car over and personally I would take a few pics of the widescreen surround area beforehand as they officially denied all knowledge afterwards....even though the actual fitter admitted it to me when i spoke to him and he couldn't apologise enough

Taking photos up front is a top tip for sure. Maybe you can call Dreadnought Garage in Callander and ask if they have any recomendations or have heard of any good places.
