I`m assuming its this model you have. Unfortunately quite rare. Sit down before you open the link, hehe

Maybe one of the Landrover Specialists will do them cheaper.

I run a Land Rover also and can always find the common fit parts for my Griff at one of the many aftermarket Landy 4x4 outlets. Suggest firstly looking over the existing pump to see if there are any numbers etc. Secondly take a picture and email to the 4x4 outlets, I recommend the following:

http://www.island-4x4.co.uk/
http://www.devon4x4.com/
http://www.britpart.com/homep.asp?PageRef=1
http://www.lrseries.com/

Give them a call. You should not have to pay silly prices for essentially a Range Rover V8 water pump.

All the best, Pete

It isn't a LR pump I believe it was specific to 2WD applications and even then there are versions to this design with different flanges which are not interchangeable.

The timing cover (bit the pump bolts onto) is also different between the 2 applications.
Again good 2WD ones not getting so easy to find as oil pump area can be worn on 2nd hand ones.
