I'm currently trying to track down parts of a Griff sold on ebay around November/December last year. Some of you may already know the story of this particular Griffith.

As it stands, the breaker that broke the car is being a complete ahole. Despite repeated requests from both myself and the insurance company, he's been unforthcoming with information about what he still has and what he has sold and the values.

I need this information to be able to get compensated. Just to be clear, I'm not asking for the return of parts fitted to people's cars or anyone to be out of pocket. I just need to know so I can negotiate with my insurance company and any civil actions I might need to take.

Whatever it takes, this car WILL be resurrected.

Thank you,
Tony.

Did the chassis turn up tony?
I know we have the main parts so if its a case of what the missing bits are worth can you not make a list, post it on here and see what people have paid in the past? That should be enough or at least a good start for the insures

Hi
I got 2 front lower wishbones off Ebay at the start of Nov. The are the tubular type and not the standard one's, so easy to identifiy if you had them.

The ebay seller in question is called "oldcarparts2009" they usually just break Astons and this Griffith was broken as a one off, so if anyone bought anything from that seller on ebay around November last year its likely that it came from the car in question, don't worry if you bought anything from any other ebay seller.

You can see what was sold, for how much, and to whom (Ebay names) by reviewing the seller's feedback profile. Lots of Griff 500 items there. Last item appears to have been sold on 5th Dec 2012. Work forward from there.

Just checked my purchase history and my wishbone are from 'stuart0705'. So I presume they are not from your car.
Good hunting.

November last year I bought the 2 lambda extension leads for £8.50 each + vat and postage. Sorry for the delayed response I’ve been very busy working on the Griffith.
Best Wishes

Thanks everyone for the help. I believe I now have the information needed, so now I can now have the argument with my insurance.

All the best,
Tony
