If the UK banking system doesn't mess me about I will have this car

www.pistonheads.com/sales/detail.asp?i=27002&s=3

sat in my garage tomorrow afternoon. At last, a car with a proper roof again Can't wait for the next club meet.

Paul

Oh! Nearly forgot, I'll be changing my name. The new car looks nothing like a Berlin mini cab

BB - Do you know the car? It looks better in the flesh. Also, it just looked right! You know how you get that feeling when looking at a used car? Time will tell if I've got a good'un. Only the third or fouth car I looked at too!

As for my previously owned list. You have to try them all! Don't you? SSSsshhh, the missus is coming!

An "official" welcome to the fold Paul there doesn`t appear to be a lot going on in the South Hants TVR world at the moment, but i`m pretty sure we could arrange something especially for you

Thanks all. Got the car home OK this evening no problem. First impressions taken from a 100 mile journey, rush hour, drizzle but nice mix of roads!

Very comfortable, much more so than expected.

Quick, not brutal like the Ultima, but plenty for now Never felt it wanted to light up the rears as the Ultima would, any gear, small throttle openings!

Nice steering (non PAS) a little heavy at parking but loads of info once moving. Tramlines a little, no more than I expected tho'.

Great sounds! Not too loud to be wearing on a journey. Would be better with the roof off.

Just need a half decent weekend now to go for a proper blast!

That's a nice looking Griff. Not sure as I could live with the SS dash, but a very nice colour combination, if I may say.

Very, very nice! I noticed that one myself and thought that it did look superb. I'm toying with the idea of getting a Griffith 500 myself (after years of Caterhams)! Still sorely tempted, especially after seeing the pics of yours but must drive one first though.

Thanks for the replies folks. I have found one problem with the S/S dash! It reflects the sun some thing awful if it's straight behind you low in the sky

Never mind!
