The Griffith season is underway, the weather's improving, Chatsworth pencilled in, Donnington Classic booked, lots of things planned - and I go and break three bones in my clutch foot!

Out of driving action for six weeks. Why couldn't it have happened in December?

Sorry to moan,

David.

Sorry to hear that fella, been there, done that.

Get a mate on insurance? Still get out with them driving?

Thanks for the good wishes.

Yes, we're booked in for all three days at the Silverstone Classic - I'm banking on everything being fine by then, and for The Growl, of course. We've all heard of clutch slip, well, last night I had crutch slip - I placed one crutch on a mat on a shiny floor and you can guess the consequence. I won't be doing that again in a hurry!

I think I'm too bad a passenger to let anyone else drive my cars. The pleasure would be taken away by all the nervous tension! I just have to bite the bullet and be patient.

Regards, David.
