Some years ago I owned and enjoyed two TVR's. The first a mint 5 year old 1986 350i and then a 6 month old 1999 Chimeara 400. Both were great fun but I parted company with them to fund a Cobra Replica.

Was thinking about another TVR later in the year and then I saw this Griff 500 SE for sale. Could not resist so I bought it.

A few bits to do before I take delivery but looking forward to getting my hands on it!!!

Very nice car. How soon will it be before Steve talks you into dropping in an LS.

Hahahaha - We have talked for many hours about what I should get to replace my Cobra which has 500bhp/505lbs:ft. I was concerned that any TVR would feel a bit under whelming after this. Tried a sTuscan and really disliked it. Tried the 500 SE and loved it. The LS route is seriously tempting but I really don't have time for a project. Steve gets these things done in the time it takes most of us to decorate a bedroom but unfortunately I don't have his skills. I have protected myself from future temptation buy buying an SE which IMO should be kept just as it rolled out of the factory.

Yes the 'adjustable steering rack' is a strange thought - maybe they mean the steering wheel adjustment (up/down) which I assume is standard on the Griffs anyway (its on my 500 so assume all?).
