As per the title. What seems to be lightly damaged and well worth repairing.

It would be good to see a TVR enthusiast buying this, before the usual suspect up in the Northeast buys it, and puts about 3k minimum on his purchase price.

So come on guys, anyone after a cheap 5ltr griff......get bidding.

I viewed the car last week.
Minimal,if any chassis damage the majority of the impact being taken by the wishbones. Originally a Mole Valley car, wedgewood blue trim in good order,no radiator although it may be in the trunk all in all a good project. One set of keys no paperwork and I wouldn`t rely on the mileage being accurate.
Looking at the unfortunate choice of wheels, black vinyl covered dash and chav taillights the accident may well afford it another chance.

Hi.Fairly sure this was a car I bid on back in Feb this year on ebay. Was sold at £10500 to a dealer. Car reputably had 40k on it, but only 27k on a rebuilt engine. Vendor then had owned car for 10yrs and had full service history. Short notice I admit but if anyone here ends up buying it I have a list of work done to it pre Feb2013.

Thanks. What a waste of time. That car required many thousands spent on it and you'll still be stuck with a CAT D car. sigh......

7999 makes sense as the last I saw the price was in the low 5000s. 7999 still doesn't leave much of a margin if you're planning on taking on a project, but at least it isn't as ambitiously priced as some of his other offerings.

Hi,
Yes, I think it was for sale earlier in the year I inquired about it, believe the mileage was not genuine.
It was a buy it now for £10,500 IIRC on ebay.

Just checked my notes.Engine replaced by Tvr(?) at 13k miles, so 27k on new engine.Offered back in Feb with spare set of 350i wheels&tyres and spare hood.New owner didn't get much value out of it before smacking it then!! Not necessarily his/her driver error of course!

Hi, I'm the TVR enthusiast that bought the car!!
As I bought it unseen I'm glad to hear it has no chassis damage.

As I'm never going to sell it, the Cat D doesn't bother me really.

Could Cindydog get in touch and tell me what the previous history was.

Oh, and rest assured, the chavtastic wheels are going. It's being sprayed navy blue and retrimmed in Alfa tan.

Can't wait to pick it up now........ :-)

Nice to meet you all by the way; excellent forum.

Best regards, Andrew.

Sorry, not really been lurking all this time.

I joined Pistonheads a long long time ago when I was at Aston Martin.

I haven't been on in all that time; I just had a look via google when I put a deposit on the Griff last week.

I was amazed to find I already had a login!!

Seems like a useful forum.
