Poor show from the Griffs at Ultimate TVR Shootout this weekend... I was the only Griff there!

I have knocked together a video from Griff cam - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uYe2LFgavr0&hd=...

Great work Matt with the 2 GoPro's!

Let me know if you ever need a 3rd to add to your great footage...

Off to take another look at http://www.noswizard.com/ especially as they are now offering 15% off for TVR Car Club Owners... (Below);-)

Matthew,
Great pics and a good time. You're ahead of me now so need to get back out there.
Nice to see some pics from you that aren't food (Mrs FFG on Faceache).

Thanks gents.

Your 4.3BV has a good terminal speed FFG, I reckon you could beat 13.3.

This wasn't the fastest either, been over 111. I think the 8 year old SP9000's are my downfall and controlling the adrenelin at the start. Looking to replace with Toyo R1R in the near future. I'm aiming for sub 13.

Wow that is quick, I reakon a 12 is entiry possible in that case. Some nicely warmed up R1Rs on the rear would certainly shed some time as well.

Nice work again Matthew. Video goes into my 85 MB Archive along side SAGRIFF at Brunters beating Ferrari 430 and Tuscan round the first bend.

Cheers gents,

Is there a YouTube link for SAGRIFF at Brunters with the Ferrari 430? I don't think I have seen it.

SAGRIFF had a standard Griff 500 and knew how to sprint drive it. He started with no wheel spin in first, unlike the Tuscan and Ferrari which had to use higher rpm. Griff RV8 500 faster up to 100mph

Thanks for digging those out.

Wow that is very impressive, the Griff literally catapults off of the start line every time! SAGRIFF sure knows how to get the best out of his Griff. Top driving. thumbup

There are quite a few RWYB events throughout the year at Pod. Here is the website:

http://www.rwyb.co.uk/

12.4 is very very good time Daz. I think you might struggle to beat that. Nothing like a challenge though aye!

Well I managed 12.45 on my second go ..Turned up late so only had two runs .The start was awful with wheel spin and I`m using joke tyres so 12.4 is possible..

The car runs 1/2 a second faster since the twin air filter install.

They are now pushed back a few inches and a bracket has been made ,they are also around 4" to the right ,cut the induction pipe back .
