Could not help myself....
Discussion
Lovely day today, clear blue sky and sunshine (where I live anyway), so used Griff for the second time this week for the commute to work. Top down (a must), fairly clear roads, exhaust entertainment system at full chat, could not help seriously exceeding the national speed limit
How could I have such a lapse of attention... Must be the entertainment system? Can't beat it, so addictive........
How could I have such a lapse of attention... Must be the entertainment system? Can't beat it, so addictive........Me too. 4 days out of 5 this week I've done my 65mile round trip in the Griff.
And I've loved every minute, despite 2 trips to the petrol station and a half empty tank now.
Mind you, I did seem to find myself 'lost' on 3 of the homeward trips and took twice as long to get home those nights
I strongly suspect I will be getting a ticket for exceeding a 70 though. It was an area I know but thought the average speed cameras had finished.
I was only at about 75ish when I saw the camera but my hopes of escaping because the speedo misreads a bit high like most cars were dashed when I checked it against the sat nav yesterday.
The Griff has the most accurate speedo I've ever seen. It is on the button with the GPS at every 10mph marker from 10 to 70mph
Bugger!
Yesterday afternoon I saw a Chimaera drive through a village near me - with the bloody roof ON !
I have to admit I put the back section up on the way home from friends last night.
Well it was nearly midnight and it was cold. I was OK but I really felt sorry for my Mrs in her little frock and cardi. She looked absolutely frozen huddled down in the seat.

There is hope for you! If it was average speed cameras, you won't necessarily get a ticket because you went through one camera at 75 (unless you continued through the whole lot at 75!). Also, there is usually some leeway on the posted limit so 75 won't automatically end up with a ticket. Fingers x'd!I was only at about 75ish when I saw the camera but my hopes of escaping because the speedo misreads a bit high like most cars were dashed when I checked it against the sat nav yesterday.
