Treated myself ......
Discussion
With the news this afternoon that I was successful at my interview on Wednesday and I have a new job, with bonuses !!! I got all silly and confirmed to Guy at Nitron that I had to have a set.....
Bloody great service, I can't say enough for companies who bother to answer emails and are prepared to give you the answers to your questions. And more emails with more answers and more questions ...... I can be a pain. Top bloke, Guy !
I am going to be fitting them myself and was wondering whether anyone had a corner weighting set I could borrow.
The car will go for a full geometry set up later, but we're off to France in 2 weeks and need to get it essentially settled before then.
Can do camber and toe in etc easy enough, but hoping that it won't push them out enough for me to have to ..
Any offers ??

Excellent news on the job front johno!
Well you can't take it with you, so you're best off pampering the Griff!
I remember I only replaced mine with humble Spax, but it sure made a good deal of difference. Got a little bit more ground clearance for the dreaded speed humps, too - without going too silly!

Been chatting with Pete H off forum and he agrees ..... have to admit that the last time I fitted dampers was to the S, and when I corner weighted it, it was within acceptable tolerances ... It's only until we get back from the Loire, then I'll set about it properly.
Anyone think of any special kit I'll need to fit them to the Griffith. I can't believe its any different to the S which didn't need anything special, long handle, torque wrench, axle stands, set of spanners and sockets, copper slip and patience.
Did you have to compress the springs much Paul ??
I've got an adjustable C spanner, just going to have to round off the lobe for the Nitrons ....
Should collect them in the next couple of days

Thanks Paul, am well excited but bloody anxious as I've never done this sort of role before.
I went with the spring rates that Nitron put on their standard kit, 325 and 250. I will run these and see how I get on, I may change them at a later date as you what I'm like !
Going to fit them Staurday, my folks are down for the weekend and Dad's giving me a hand, probably in preparation for chucking them on the Chimaera
Mum and Alison are going shopping, so if you and Jane want to come over you can assist as well !!
